Cyril married Phyllis Marjorie Gates (1908-1996) at Saint George's Church, Gravesend, Kent, England on 31 July 1937. The scouts provided a parade of honour and Phyllis' sister, Freda Emily Shields, and her husband George flanked the couple at the church door. |
