The recipient of this card was Emily Frances Abrahams, wife of Barnett Arnold Abrahams, and they lived at 87 Sumner Street, Southwark from about 1900 to 1910. The senders were two spinsters who specialised in men's tailoring. They were Deborah and Esther Cohen and they lived in a single room at No.3 Culham Buildings, Bethnal Green from about 1905 to 1914.

Emily Frances CARLEY, daughter of Thomas CARLEY and Ellen Sophia nee TERRY
were married at Islington St Paul 03 October 1886.
The witnesses were John PEGG and his wife Emily Maria nee GOOBY.

Barnett and Emily had two children:
Edith ABRAHAMS born c1888 London (1891 census; deceased by 1911 census)
David George ABRAHAMS (1890-1979) m 1915 Eleanor Rebecca MATTHEWS

Deborah COHEN born c1862 Spitalfields (1911 census)
