New: Index to linked family trees
The aim is to better visualise linkages across communities, events and nations. Most of the data per se is already known. Seeing it in relationship with something else may provide some additional insight into family and community dynamics. The collection is built around Chambers genealogies (as in the "legacy" information above); Hutt Valley communities with a particular emphasis on Christ Church Taita and Wainuiomata; the New Zealand Company and a miscellany of other subjects and places based on reseach undertaken over time. The information provided is minimal and it is recommended that confirmation be sought to verify same.

How to use: Clicking on a surname in the Index PDF will take you to another PDF with embedded links highlighted in grey boxes. Clicking on these in turn will take you to another PDF and so on. All documents should have a link to the index at the top of the page.

BAXTER: DNA Matches Tree - Lineage Evidence

Most of the surnames are 'ancestral'. Others form part of a web of families linked to a single community eg. Wainuiomata or are part of a project that underpins an aspect of New Zealand history eg. John Morrison the New Zealand Government agent in London from 1858-1875. Within each surname webpage, links are provided to family group sheets, evidence timelines, and images.
