John Morrison (1824-1911) As New Zealand Government Agent in London from 1858-1875 John provided services to central government and provincial councils. This included financial advice and the shipment of a great variety of materials and people to New Zealand. His correspondence is voluminous.

New Zealand Company Ship 'London'
William Jenkins and his wife Catherine Jane (nee Mewis) and their two children were on the 1842 voyage to Wellington. Both children, John Wesley Jenkins and Jane Tutin Jenkins, died at sea. This document contains references to this ship from 1832 to 1870. The final fate of this vessel is at present unknown by this researcher.
