Shipped in good order and well conditioned by Waters & Smith in and upon the good Ship or Vessel called the 'Brougham' whereof George Kettlewell is Master, for this present Voyage, and now lying in the Harbour of Port Nicholson and bound for London - 154 casks of black oil containing 95 tons and 40 gallons imperial measure and 312 bundles of whalebone weighing seven tons three hundred weight and twelve pounds being marked and numbered, and are to be delivered in the like good order and well conditioned, at the aforesaid Port of London (the Queen's Enemies, Fire, all & every the dangers & accidents of the Seas, Rivers, & Navigation, of whatever nature or kind soever, excepted) unto Order or to Assigns they paying Freight for the said Goods, on delivery amounting to £511 11s 6d sterling with Primage and Average accustomed In Witness whereof, the Master or Purser of the said Ship, hath affirmed to four Bills of Lading, all of this Tenor and Date; the one of which Bills being accomplished, the others to stand void.
